In worship, we are joined as a community that rejoices in God’s presence in the world and our lives.
We gather together offering our prayers, praise, and thanksgiving to the glory of God while being renewed and equipped to answer Christ’s call to us. Rooted in the reformed tradition, our worship values our heritage while embracing new and engaging forms of worship.

On any given Sunday, you will hear a wide variety of offerings, from Bach, to the great hymns of the church, to African American spirituals to the Celtic rhythms of the Iona Community’s songs. Our rich tradition of excellence in preaching offers fresh insights into the relevance of God’s Word for our lives today. The sacrament of the Lord's Supper is offered monthly at First Presbyterian Church. Through regular worship, we grow in our relationship with God and with one another in Christian community.
