Lenten Worship Opportunities
Weekly Mid-Day Prayer
Wednesdays beginning March 8 | 11:30 AM | Chapel
(Note: Mid-Day Prayer will be Monday through Friday during Holy Week)
Throughout the season of Lent, FPC will host mid-day prayer services each Wednesday and each day of Holy Week. Join us for this time of prayer and praise each week as we journey together through the season.
Services will last approximately 30 minutes and provide a way to remain centered and focused on the penitential season of Lent throughout the week.
We invite you to consider making worship a part of your Lenten discipline this year.
For more information contact Joshua Taylor, Director of Worship & Music.

Journey Through Holy Week
An event for everyone!
Sunday April 9 5:30 PM
You are invited to join fellow “travelers” on a JOURNEY THROUGH HOLY WEEK, on Palm Sunday evening beginning in Byrd Hall at 5:30 pm. After a lite Lenten meal of salads and soup, groups will walk to various locations throughout the church, listening to and experiencing the Holy Week events beginning at 5:30 pm. The journey will end in the Welcome Center area with Lenten crafts and an opportunity to walk the Labyrinth. We hope you can make this part of your Holy Week Spiritual Practice. If you RSVP for meal reservations this will help us plan. Contact Emily Hill, Assistant to Education at 214-748-8051 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The cost for dinner is $5 per person (not to exceed $20 per family) with credit cards now accepted. This Lenten journey is open to and appropriate for all ages. What a wonderful time to invite that family from your school, neighborhood or work to attend! We’ll see you on the Journey…
