PNC Nominee: Julius Zsohar III
Julius grew up in First Presbyterian Church, and was baptized by Dr. John Anderson in 1973. He earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, Doctor of Medicine from UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, completed his anesthesiology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, and recently earned an MBA from UT Dallas. He currently practices anesthesiology in the DFW area. Julius and his wife Maria have nine year old twin sons, Owen and James. He enjoys serving our church as an usher with his father and other family members. A few of his favorite church memories include: Wednesday night family supper in Byrd Hall followed by crafts in the basement with Gene Crissman and Kathryn Carpenter, listening to Marguerite Mizell, Chuck Hudson teaching Sunday School while holding his newborn daughter, bass fishing with Harry Crissman at Mo Ranch, Sunday evening choir and trips with Ken and Mary Jane Cooper, youth Sunday School lessons taught by Dan Foster, youth group with Pat Brockette, roaming throughout the church all night at youth lock-ins, flying paper airplanes off the parking garage, serving Stewpot in the church basement, working as a FPC employee during Summer Day Camp, treating patients in the Stewpot Medical Clinic with Elgin Ware, and in the medical clinic in Haiti with other FPC members. He is honored to have this opportunity to serve our great church.
