The scholarship deadline for the 2018 application window has closed. Please check back in May of 2019 for the next chance to apply.
Scholarships are given to First Presbyterian Church members who are entering or attending a college, university, or institution of higher learning beyond High School, and who need financial assistance. Priority is given to those seeking undergraduate degrees.
Candidates can apply by filling out the application form and by writing a letter of request for consideration. Applications forms are available through the Education Office of FPC, and also online. Applications must be submitted by midnight on the deadline date. No late applications are accepted. It is the responsibility of the applicant to confirm that the application was received on time.
Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis each year. Receiving a scholarship one year does not guarantee receiving a scholarship in subsequent years. Scholarships are sent directly to the school. The amount of the scholarship will depend on the Total Funds available each year and the number of applications received.
