First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary after its historic renovation.


First Concert Series:
Sanctuary Celebration

Saturday, January 27
Dinner at 5:30, Concert at 7:30 p.m.

A BBQ dinner followed by a concert event featuring Poulenc's Organ Concerto & Gloria and Haydn's Te Deum, featuring Thomas F. Froehlich, organist, Haley Sicking, soprano, the FPC Chamber Orchestra, FPC Chancel Choir, and

Celebrate Sunday

We will worship together in the Sanctuary for the first time since it was restored to its original, historic condition. The Rev. Dr. Scott Black-Johnston, Senior Pastor of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church New York will be our guest preacher.

Dr. RonalD C. White Lecture

Sunday, January 28
4 p.m.

A lecture titled  Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address and the Religion of Lincoln by historian Dr. Ronald C. White, who will also teach a combined adult Sunday school class at 9:30 a.m. Dr. White has attended Northwestern University and is a graduate of UCLA and Princeton Theological Seminary, earning a Ph.D. in Religion and History from Princeton University and has taught at numerous universities. Childcare will be provided for Sunday school and the lecture.
