Draw Near

We are called to draw near at every turn of our spiritual journey. As neighbors, we are called to draw near to those we love, to those we love not-so-much, and to the “least of these.” As families we are called to draw near to each other to share stories, our hopes and dreams, and our faith. As children of God, we are called to draw near to a manger, to sit among the livestock and await the birth of the Savior.

In the world of church communications, branding is everything. Brands—logos, colors, and themes—are an extension of the emotions, energy and essence of who we are as a people and an organization. This Advent season, we chose to use the Draw Near branding and theme created by A Sanctified Art.

In this season of anticipation, you will notice Draw Near woven into the fabric of this church. You’ll see coloring pages for children and adults, found around the church and on our website. You’ll find devotionals for families and individuals, available in Anderson Common. You’ll see artwork in the bulletins and newspapers that link these resources to the scriptures read on Sundays.

It is our hope, as we journey through Advent, that among the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we will remember to draw near.
