PNC Nominee: Bill Cobb
Bill and his wife Stacy have been members of FPC since 1990, and raised their now adult children (Claire and Will) in this church. A lifelong Presbyterian, Bill was born in Dallas and grew up in churches in Texas, Arkansas and Colorado. He is a lawyer and leads a civil trial and litigation firm in downtown Dallas: Cobb Martinez Woodward PLLC. Bill received his undergraduate degree in Colorado from the University of Denver. He then moved back to Texas and obtained his law degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He and Stacy met in law school - she is a lawyer as well, practicing with Haynes and Boone – married in Dallas and eventually settled in University Park. Bill cheers for the Texas Longhorns and enjoys golf when time allows.
Bill is presently a Ruling Elder (Class of 2019) and served on the Session for two previous terms during the pastorships of Bill Carl and Joe Clifford. He is a former Trustee of the FPC Dallas Foundation, and is its immediate past president. He has also served as an FPC Corporation Trustee and as its president. He and Stacy co-chaired the 2016 Arise Capital Campaign, working alongside many others on that project. He worked on the FPC’s 2015-16 Strategic Planning task force. He has taught high school youth Sunday School and been a Confirmation Partner.
Bill’s Presbyterian bent comes naturally. Both of his parents are active in the congregation at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Arlington, Texas.
